The preschool staff and management are amazingly supportive and are constantly coming up with ways to keep my child who has SEND included and supported.
I think they went above and beyond to help my daughter become comfortable to actually be with other people and leave me. Couldn’t be more impressed.
Absolutely brilliant setting. The care and support is second to none. Thank you for all the hard work!
Best preschool and the best staff! my girls love preschool and that’s mostly because the staff is so friendly and gentle and helps them every step of the way ! I can’t recommend it enough x thank you for everything you do for my children.
I never thought I would be so comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of others. I feel the setting takes a genuine interest in her progress and I love how much everyone seems to care. I really feel they know her well and how to get the best from her. I’m very happy to have chosen Severn Beach preschool and that she has a place there.
Can’t thank each and every member of the staff enough for making such a happy and fun environment for my child to grow and develop.
2021
My son attended Severn beach preschool from 2020-2021 and he absolutely loved it. As a mum, I had my concerns about his development, as his speech and social skills were poor, but since being at the preschool he has come on leaps and bounds within a short period of time and that is thanks to all the staff for being so patient and understanding of him. I couldn’t recommended this pre school enough, because not only was my son supported, but I was too and that made me into a confident parent.
2019/2020
A lovely preschool, ran by the most amazing team of ladies. My daughter has loved every second of her time at SB preschool and has progressed so well in all areas of her learning. The parents Facebook page is great for seeing what the children have been up to during their day and is used to let parents know any messages. The children are regularly taken out on trips around the village – my little one loved going on the sea wall with her friends! The staff team follow the children’s interests in order to meet their needs and they really care about the wellbeing of all the children in their setting. It really is a fabulous preschool!
My boys love this pre school, Harvey will miss it so much but keeps saying it’s OK as I can still see them over the fence. What a lovely place he’s never not wanted to go in. They have learnt so much in pre school. Staff all work very hard. Thanks for everything Would recommend to anyone. Love the daily updates with pictures showing what they have been up to.

Ooooh what can I say? Mike will be very sad when preschool finishes…. First few days was very hard for us, but all preschool team is really great and profesional and Mike love the preschool now. I want say massive THANK YOU to Cathie, Debbie, Emma, Sarah, Fabiola, Faith and Lara for all the help and support. Mike was really happy every day with you all! He had a lots of fun and magic memories ♥️
My son absolutely loves going to Severn Beach pre school. Whenever he has been he has so many stories to tell me about his day and always with a big smile on his face.
It is such a friendly pre school, the staff are wonderful and are always on hand for any questions. They keep you up to date on everything going on. I can’t rate this pre school highly enough.
My son is going to miss everyone so much when he leaves.
The best preschool ever Teddy has come on leaps and bounds since starting there, everyone is so friendly and the staff are amazing with the children! Love the pictures they post everyday all you can see is everyone so happy. X
They pride themselves on ensuring they know your child very well to be able to care for them the best way. they regularly keep in touch and constantly keep parents updated
2018
My daughter calls this her ‘colorful nursery’ and she runs in every day. Staff are professional and friendly, always someone to talk to if you need to. Their online journals are updated regularly and it’s lovely to see the photos of what they’ve been doing on a daily basis. A wide range of activities are offered to the children including ‘beach school’ which I think is a lovely touch. Highly recommend.
This is an amazing preschool. My son loved going every day. The staff are friendly and help your children make great progress and become school ready.
A great preschool with dedicated and very supportive teachers and a fantastic outdoor area. My daughter loved splashing in the paddling pool, singing the ice-cream song, baking cookies, collecting pebbles on the beach, climbing trees in the forest, dancing on Wednesdays, posting her own drawings and wearing the Buzz Lightyear costume 24/7. Great memories she won’t forget!
2017
The future generation of Severn Beach are incredibly lucky to have such an inspiring and fabulous Pre-school. The staff are all so dedicated and go over and above to ensure that every single child is cared for. The facilities are outstanding and offer so many exciting opportunities for the children. It’s so wonderful to watch the children running into school full of excitement and equally, to see them leaping out at the end of the day, full of stories to tell their families about the brilliant day they have had. My daughter has made so much progress since starting here. More importantly, she is so happy and that is all any parent ever wants for their children.
This preschool is really good – had a balance of learning and play and the contact with parents via photos and observations has been great. Our child has loved it, and the variety of equipment and activities is second to none too. Highly recommend it!
